Green Fingers at Square Cactus

We’re proud of our green fingers at Square Cactus and our prized collection of spiky succulents so we’re cheering on our clients, Blackburn BID who we’re supporting on Thursday when the RHS Britain in Bloom judges are in town.

We were delighted to accompany the partners and the judges on their tour of the town last summer on behalf of the BID and came up trumps by winning a North West Gold.

They were impressed with the partnership working between the Council Economic Regeneration team and the BID who invest an additional £25k+ in planting and maintenance to make the town centre look simply stunning.

This year we have been working with the BID team to promote an Adoptapot scheme for BID members with many businesses taking responsibility for their own shop front displays.

We even have our own patriotic display of blooms which celebrate the Great British High Street winners plaque which you may have spotted is positioned outside our shop window.

Good luck to everyone on Thursday.  Carry on like this and Blackburn’s going to need a bigger trophy case!
