Square Cactus Limited captures original photography of locations, events, and venues across the UK. All images (“Images”) created by Square Cactus are protected by UK copyright law (Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988) and remain the exclusive intellectual property of Square Cactus Limited.
Use of any image without prior permission or a valid licence constitutes copyright infringement and may result in retrospective fees or legal action.

đź“‹ Unauthorised Use & Retrospective Licensing
If you have used an image owned by Square Cactus Limited without a valid licence, we reserve the right to issue an invoice for retrospective licensing. This may include:
- A base fee according to usage
- A surcharge for unauthorised or uncredited use
- 14-day payment terms
Non-payment or continued use after notification may result in legal action through the UK Intellectual Property Enterprise Court (IPEC).

1. Introduction
These Licence Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of photographs (“Images”) provided by Square Cactus Limited (“Square Cactus”, “we”, “our”, “us”). By purchasing a licence or using any of our Images, you (“Licensee”, “you”, “your”) agree to comply with these Terms.
2. Licence Types
2.1 Standard Licence
- Permitted Uses: Digital media, print, social media, marketing, personal projects
- Instances: Up to 5 uses
- Prohibited Uses: No resale, sublicensing, redistribution
2.2 Extended Licence
- Permitted Uses: All uses under the Standard Licence
- Instances: Unlimited by the same Licensee
- Prohibited Uses: No resale, sublicensing, redistribution
2.3 Commercial Extended Licence
- Permitted Uses: All uses under Standard and Extended Licences, plus product resale
- Instances: Unlimited by the same Licensee
- Prohibited Uses: No sublicensing or redistribution
3. Grant of Licence
Upon purchase, Square Cactus grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Images per the licence type. This is a right to use, not ownership.
4. Restrictions
- No unlawful use
- No sublicensing or redistribution
- No deceptive or harmful editing unless explicitly allowed
5. Intellectual Property Rights
All intellectual property rights remain with Square Cactus Limited. You are granted a licence to use, not ownership of, the Images.
6. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Square Cactus from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your breach of these Terms.
7. Termination
We may terminate your licence if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, all use must cease and all copies must be deleted or destroyed.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes fall under the jurisdiction of English courts.
